3. Local Processing Architecture

Movix is designed with a local-first architecture:

• All media detection, processing, and saving occurs entirely within your browser on your device
• No media data, file metadata, or content information is ever transmitted to our servers
• The extension communicates externally only for license key validation — a minimal encrypted check that does not transmit any personal information beyond your license key
• License key validation uses HTTPS encryption and does not log your activity

4. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by FastSpring, Inc. (our Merchant of Record). When you make a purchase:

• Your payment information is collected and processed solely by FastSpring — we never see or store this data
• FastSpring provides us only with your email address (to deliver your license key) and transaction status
• FastSpring's privacy practices are governed by FastSpring's Privacy Policy

5. Cookies and Tracking

The movixbiz.com website does not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking scripts. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar services.

6. Data Retention

We retain minimal data as follows:

• License key records: Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months, then deleted
• Support emails: Retained for 12 months from last correspondence, then deleted
• We do not retain any media data, browsing data, or usage logs

License key validation uses industry-standard HTTPS encryption. We do not store payment information on our systems. Your media content is never exposed to external security risks through our service.
